Custom world design team visit the KBB (Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms exhibition) at the London ExCel centre on the docklands.
Looking to keep up to date with the latest in designs and styles in furniture, plus looking at new products and ideas coming to market, the design and showroom team spend all day visiting the exhibitor stands and going to the seminars.
One of the seminars was by Naomi Cleaver, Global Color Research – Mix Publications and the mix trends, plus Seymorpowell, one of the world’s leading design and innovation companies.
Custom World have been given inspiration to their traditional approach to fitted furniture and continue to hand-draw their designs (although they are introducing computer design software), the furniture is hand-made in their Dorset factory and then hand-fitted by their team of in-house fitters.
The seminar team of Seymorpowell gave a strong message at the KBB that traditional values in design are very much in demand.
Despite this ‘hand’ approach, Custom World strive to keep fitted furniture at affordable prices, whilst putting a high emphasis on quality.
