What are the benefits of having bespoke wardrobes fitted in your bedroom?

The main benefit of having bespoke fitted furniture, especially wardrobes, is that it enables you to maximise every inch of storage space and this is particularly important if you have difficult room space with angles and sloping ceilings.

However, not all companies make fitted furniture which is completely custom made or bespoke, so you need to be sure that when your furniture is being designed and installed you are not left with ‘unusable spaces’.

Unusable spaces, or dead spaces as they are commonly known, are usually as a result of modular units that are manufactured to pre-set measurements. This means that you will have units fitted to fill as much of the area as possible and any spare space that is too small to fit a modular unit in, will have a panel put in to fill the space. Of course, although this filler panel will complete the ‘fitted look’, it will be a waste of storage space, as you will not be able to access the space behind it.

At Custom World, because we design and manufacture your furniture to your exact measurements (i.e. totally bespoke wardrobes), we can fit wardrobes and drawer units into any space which means that you never have any dead space and you can have easy access to all your storage areas.

So, not only do you get beautifully fitted furniture, but you also get the full use of all your storage space and most importantly, none of that storage space is wasted, which becomes an additional benefit when you are looking for furniture to put into small bedrooms, whether this is to use this small space as a children’s bedroom or for a home office.

Hello for you Summer, thank your comment to this post. This is always a difficult question to answer, as it will depend on a number of things. For example, whether you want sliding or hinged. When you choose this, what materials you would like and then what interiors you choose.

The best thing to do is to call us on 01202 896816 and arrange a free design visit…this is totally without obligation too.

Thank you for you for your interest.
